The Midas Touch Golden Tans practices “Smart Tanning” and adheres to skin typing protocol by which client’s skin type is analyzed and proper exposure schedules are determined. Not all skin types can tan naturally, but all skin types can spray tan. Skin types are:

Skin Type I- Very sensitive to sunlight; always burns, never tans.

Skin Type II-Sensitive to sunlight; burns easily, tans slightly.

Skin Type III-Normal sensitivity to sunlight; sometimes burns, tans gradually

Skin Type IV-Skin is tolerant of sunlight; burns minimally, always tans well

Skin Type V-Skin is brown; burns rarely, tans deeply.

Skin Type VI-Skin is black; almost never burns, deeply pigmented.
